Model: 2488 ( 80 mesh, 120 mesh, 160 mesh )
Polyvinyl alcohol powder is selected polyvinyl alcohol, using liquid nitrogen as the medium, pulverized and processed in a low temperature environment. It is a water-soluble and environmentally friendly high-molecular polymer with good film-forming properties, emulsifying properties, Bonding performance. The film formed by it has excellent adhesion, solvent resistance, abrasion resistance, tensile strength and oxygen barrier properties. Because polyvinyl alcohol has both hydrophilic and hydrophobic functional groups, it is an interfacially active substance, so polyvinyl alcohol can be used as a protective colloid for polymer emulsification and suspension polymerization.
PVA powders are particularly suitable for building mortar additives, they improve the flexibility, water retention, and viscosity of the mortar. In addition, they can reduce the friction of the mortar, thereby enhancing work efficiency and quality. ( Prevent cracking and falling off of the plaster layer, increase the adhesion strength and smoothness. )
The product is a small particle polymer, easy to disperse in cold water, the powder can be quickly re-dispersed in water, improve the characteristics of building materials, and have the function of capillary. Suggested addition: 0.3-1.0% of the total amount ( accounting for the total formula ).

Physical properties
Appearance: White powder, odorless, tasteless and fluid.
Solubility: Polyvinyl alcohol powder (PVA) 24-88 belongs to partial alcoholysis PVA, which can be dissolved in room temperature water.
Thermal stability: Polyvinyl alcohol softens when heated, and does not change significantly below 40°C. It will gradually color when heated at 160°C for a long time, and it will decompose above 220°C to produce water, acetic acid, acetaldehyde and crotonaldehyde.
Chemical resistance: It is hardly affected by weak acids, weak bases or organic solvents, and has high oil resistance.
Storage stability: PVA is a low-viscosity polymer, and its aqueous solution is very stable at room temperature. The PVA aqueous solution will not deteriorate during storage.
Film formation: Due to the high adhesion between PVA molecules, PVA is easy to form a film, and the formed film is colorless and transparent, with good mechanical strength, smooth surface without stickiness, and good solubility resistance. PVA film has good light transmittance, high moisture permeability, no charge, no dust absorption, and good printability.
Application areas
Polyvinyl alcohol powder (PVA) is used in various dry powder putties in powder chemical building materials, additives in dry powder mortars, tile adhesives, plaster adhesives, etc., which can effectively increase the adhesion and flow of cement and mortar It can slow down the drying time of cement surface, increase coating adaptability, and prevent cement coating from cracking. It is suitable for the pasting of walls, ceilings and tiles. The method of use is simple and the effect is good.
