Properties and applications of pva-2088
1. Features
(1) Solubility: it has strong hydrophilicity and is easy to dissolve in water (it can be dissolved slowly at room temperature, and generally used in hot water above 85 ℃), but insoluble in almost all organic solvents. PVA-2088 will produce foam in the course of dissolving. It can be solved by adding defoamer.
(2) Film forming property: easy to form film and excellent mechanical properties. Except for H2O, PVA film has excellent resistance to H2, N2, O2 and other gases.
(3) Adhesion: not only with hydrophilic fiber, paper and so on, but also with hydrophobic fiber has good adhesion.
(4) Thermal stability: when the sheet is heated above 130 ℃, the appearance changes gradually. The partially alcoholysis PVA began to melt at 180-190 ℃ and decomposed at 200 ℃.
(5) Solvent resistance: PVA has strong resistance to weak acid and alkali, and good oil resistance.
2. Main application
(1) Fiber processing industry: staple yarn, long yarn and after processing and other fields.
(2) Film processing industry: using different processes to produce water-soluble films and other fields.
(3) Coating mold industry: base cloth shaping and strengthening and other fields.
(4) Paper processing industry: indicate sizing and other fields.
(5) Adhesive industry: re wet bonding and other fields.
(6) stabilizer industry: vinyl acetate emulsion polymerization and other fields.
(7) Others: cosmetics, pharmaceutical products, additives for building materials, temporary protective film and other fields.
